I don't think cockatiels are appropriate birds to be companions to an Umbrella 'too, or any cockatoo for that matter. I'm not saying you couldn't keep both in one household, but they shouldn't be out together.

Cockatoos are incredibly demanding birds and difficult to take care of. If you're not an experienced 'too owner already, I wouldn't recommend trying to juggle multiple new birds at once. Learn everything you can about cockatoos and be sure you can provide your bird everything it needs before introducing additional demands and distractions into the mix.
