Sure, maybe owls and hawks do a great job in rural and wild areas, but how many of those hang out in the cities? I know, there are some, but I think cats do a much better job in urban areas. I`m not saying that is a good life for them to lead by any means.

And I don`t see how wild dogs feeding on domesticated livestock compares to wild cats feeding on wild birds? That`s comparing apples and oranges.
