My daughter's 2 budgies live in her room, but she brings them out in the evenings for 'play time', at which point the two budgies, my two 'tiels and the WC all hang out primarily on the 'tiel cage...
...it's awfully cute...
...don't know what to suggest about the talking, none of my 'tiels ever talked, but I never bothered to try and teach them...I'm happy with their whistling...
