Sarah brings up an important point: flying down is harder than across. So just because your birds know recall, that doesn't mean they'll be confident coming back to you if they're stuck high up in a tree. In fact, from high up, they might not *really* even recognize you because the perspective is so different. (?)

But yeah, it really is cool to see them fly confidently (I especially love how they tuck their little feet back).
