Quakers will always 'quake'. It's just what they do. As they get a little older, not as much, but they will still bob that head. [This is almost like they are bobbing their head in agreement with you.] This is not the same as when they want to feed you and regurgitate their food for you, or, their little hormonal dances. We've had our Sugar for 5 years now. She has decided to lay eggs this past year although there is no daddy bird. She is a very happy girl. She does not talk, although she did a little when she first moved in.
