Good morning all, I am really upset my parrotlet pair was found dead this morning. Here is the story, I am open for suggestions. Thanks

I just put both pairs of parrotlets and my 3 single lovebirds into one of those cages that you can make 2, 3 or 4 cages out of, its wrought iron. I did this on Sunday night, and this morning I found my one pair of parrotlets on the bottom of the cage. They look as if they were perched on the bottom together, as if they were perching on a perch together and died. They are laying right next to each other, there feet are still around the bars. I don't understand what could have happened, specially for both to die side by side? Any suggestions? there were no birds next to them, only above them. I am so upset right now
