hi Dawn. I am sorry for your loss. It is very important no matter how long it takes to find out to the best of your ability with a necropsy what is wrong. I relize it takes time, but we have a high consentration of PDD and Beak and Feather in the state right now, and any bird that you come into contact with is at risk. You need to rule these things out for the health and safety of your remaining flock.
If you are conserned about the register, move the cage. however, I dont think that was it.
Again, I cant stress this enough. Its VERY important to get this done.
