Thank you dancelady, I appreciate your help. I have to admit at first I was not too happy with your posts, but you have become helpul to me. I might see if I can take the stand off the cages and just put that on the hutch, I will talk to my husband.
The temp is in the mid 60's there right now, however the heat is not kicking on cause it is warmer outside and I have it turned down, but I can turn it up just to see what the temp is reading. I am sure I can take the register off and clean it out, and possibly even put in a new register, the on there is pretty old lol.
The hutch is back in place in the dining room and the cages ontop it, til I get it all figured out. I might be leaning more toward the heat thing, only cause everyone else seems to be ok, no more deaths. If of course any more happen, I will have to figure more out. I realize that the hutch was blocking the air, that is why I am leaning toward that, cause it is blocking the air again.
The other thing we were thinking about, is the possibility that during shipping of the cage, maybe something got dumped on it. All 4 corners were blown out of it, the box was pretty beaten up. There were no signs of that happening, however, can't rule it out, since it could have dried by the time I got it. I am going to take and clean it and then sanitize it with vinegar and peroxide over the weekend and see what happens. Providing I have not lost any more birds til then. thanks again
