Hi Lisa,
I just sent you a private email. Zoegirl thank you for the info. There is a law in the US, advocated by the USDA, that will eventually demand ALL livestock be identified from birth to death and tracked and recorded.
Wait a few more years and we'll probably be tracked as well. The last I had heard, that particular law is not in effect yet as alot of people are very much against it. If some of the large commercial breeders would keep their animals in much more humane and sanitary conditions, there would be alot less disease to even have to worry about. I'm mostly concerned with what diseases may be transferrable from poultry birds to parrots. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Thanks!
