I will start by saying I know little about this subject. 3 days ago, I went to my back porch and found a green parrot! A little Googling later, and I think it is a Conure. The thing is, it is friendly to me and will eat right out of my hand. It talks a little, and is free to come and go as it pleases. However, it has stayed. The bad is that it has no feathers on it's chest or beneath it's wings. It is green with white around the eyes, yellow or orange eyes, and the feathers are yellow under the wings. There are red tufts of feathers on the front of it's wings. I think it is a Cuban Conure from what I have read. Any advice is welcomed. I bought some parrot feed at Wal Mart, but am sure it is not enough. Anyhow, here is a pic.
He seems to like that palm bush, and it keeps him safe from the other animals in the neighborhood. If I keep him, I will get a cage, and fix all of the broken screens around my pool and porch area.
