you might wanna add some more water so its not quite as thick. i never had air problems with mine :) what you can do though for the air is thump the syringe with your finger while the syringe is upside down. if that doesnt work, you can do this while you suck up some more air at the same time (hope this makes sense LOL) the air bubbles should float towards the tip of the syringe so you can squeeze them out.
