My Chaucer is currently wearing a Avian Collar, and they're great. The only problem is that they can still get to their feet, so if keeping your bird from his toes is the thing....don't use it. Chaucer has been picking under his wings, so it's great for him. Good thing because he really hated the e-collar. However, I noticed last night that he has started picking at his feet and lower legs, so I'll have to do as my vet said I might, and add a e-collar that will sit just under the Avian collar. That will keep him from chewing around the nect of the e-collar. You might check with your vet and see if a combination of the two is what you'll need. Chaucer chewed around the nect of his e-collar so bad that it kept scrapping his neck. Everyday I padded and taped his e-collar....but it got tiresome.
