Unhappy Misbehaving Lorikeet

hey guys, I have just had my lorikeet for a little over 4 months now, she is hand reared and was an excellent bird when i first got her. I used to work in a petshop and i fell inlove with her and just had to get her.. the thing is that she has been very close and cuddly since i had her, she even will sleep on my lap, sometimes i get up and take her to bed with me. But just lately she has been playing up, she constantly runs away from me and hides behind the furniture and under the couch where i cant get her, she does not bite but tho she does scream and carry on when i put my finger with her. I have to get the towl out sometimes to be able to catch her now dont get me wrong that is the extreme measure because half the time she is the reason why i am late for work. I come home from work and i always let her out, run around and play whenever im there to supervise her. but just lately she has become her own bird and does not really want anything to do with me. I want to spend time with her but i really cant if she just runs off on me all the time. My guess is that its just her growing up and its just a stage but i am not sure. If possible could i get some enlightment on the situation and some tips?
