This is definitely worth a call to your vet. I was under the impression that sugar is off limits with a yeast infection, because the yeast thrives with extra sugar. I thought that when a bird has a yeast infection all sugared foods (including all fruits) went off the diet until the yeast was under control.

I would say that your best option is to towel your bird and give him the drops that way. You might put something on the end of the syringe that he can chew while administering (maybe peanut butter?). But this is something you should chat with your vet about.
