haha this thread went from birds eating, to what happes AFTER birds eat! lol relating to the original thread, Ash has her own perch on a chair at the kitchen table so that she's got her own spot. She eats with us if the dinner isn't bad for her. Her plate is usually filled with all her favorites and the same as mine... but of course my plate is the one that I'm so interested in, so it must be better than hers! She also has a crevice on her branch that I poke food into, she loves picking thing out like spaghetti, spinach and rice. She is allowed to go on the table but nowhere past her area, and NEVER onto anyone elses plate. She's stolen out of my mouth before, and it isn't pleasant!
Oh and yes all birds are lactose intolerant, because they aren't mammals and don't suckle milk like we do! They can digest milk products in very small amounts, and cheese is ok (only a little though!) because it has a small amount of lactose after all its processing. Mmmm blueberry poo...!
