It's hard not too, you are right about over clipping . I know if I had taken gone out side and felt the wind I would of never taken her out it was just to windy. As for snowwhite again you are probly right then again she had to have make a couple of laps around the room to get up the speed she did to do the damage described to me. Accroding to my wife there was alot of blood.
These 2 events occuring so close together just has everyone shaken. When I lost Delilah I was to ashamed to post it here because of my boasting of her out side trustiblility. The heart braker over her was just how manytime times she attempted to land on me if only she would have just crashed to the ground of which she was just more frearfull of being on the ground then she was in being lost. I believe after many hours and several attempts she got frustrated and just took to the air she had on that last time we seen her flew many blocks north and south of us at well over 100' up screaming the whole time until she finally flew not only out of site but out of ear shot as well.
Too bad this wasn't a global warming year and that we have been colder the 20 degrees below average all summer long . I don't believe she survived the night it got well below 40 that night I spent the next day constantly looking for and calling for her to no availe.
It should be noted on her thrid attempt to come to be the winds finally blew here 2 blocks away and we lost tauch. I was already late for my meeting at the office I rushed to the office finished what I needed to do then started walking the neighborhood wistling for her finally she heard me and started calling for me and thats when the nightmare continued for the next 7+ hours untill the sun went down.
