You didnt have your sweet little bird killed, you showed Crystal an act of kindness. A final act of Love. It was probably the kindest thing you could have ever done for her. She is not suffering any more. To keep her alive would have been selfish and her life would have become harder. Dont feel bad, you did the right thing no matter how wrong it may feel. Now she can fly free! I am very sorry for your loss. You take care of yourself.
