The only experience I have with this is from when I was much younger. Friends raised 2 ducks they had received for Easter. The ducks were very friendly. They would follow everyone around, begging for food and attention like puppies. They were terribly messy, though. The food and poo in their backyard was a neverending battle for them. They finally gave up and sent the ducks to live on a farm where they would have a real pond, and plenty of room to roam.
