New grey owner

Hi there. I am a new grey owner and have a 3 and half month old grey. I have had him for 2 weeks. For the last couple of days now he has decided that being on my shoulder is his favourite spot. He flies onto me either from his cage or his playstand whenever I am near. If he lands on my chest he claws and flaps his way up onto my shoulder. I have read that it is not really ideal for a grey to be on your shoulder as it could make him feel dominant. Do I let him stand on my shoulder for the time being as I am not sure if its because he is still a baby and wants comfort, or do I keep taking him off and putting him back on his cage. I don't want to start any bad habits. He does like to snuggle up against my chest if I am sitting down.
Thanks in advance
