I will have to try that! They LOVE anything shiny as well. That did remind me of a toy I saw for ferrets that I think they would love. It's made of dyed wood of different size dowels that are shaped in a ball. It's supposed to be a chew toy for them and it has a nut in the middle for a treat but the dowels come off so I think they would like it. At least they would have fun sliding everything off of it! They are just too smart for their own good!!!
They even figured out that if they step or peck on a certain key hard enough on my keyboard it will make the computer beep
