LOL, Im sorry to laugh at this one but I cannot help it. Did you think it would come back? Im not trying to be mean, I just thought it was cute. They probably ate it. Are they new parents? It doesnt mean they are bad, they could have accidentally broken it and then they ate it. Or...do you keep them outside? If so it could have been a snake. Certain species LOOK for nests and eggs in the night. It sometimes takes new parents a few tries to get it right. Fill me in with more info on your birdies.
