Hi from NYC
Hi Everyone,
I'm a new member here, from Queens, NY. I live with my husband of 2 years, my 2 teenage kids (16 and 17), 1 cat named Izzy and 5 birds. I currently have 4 budgies, (Baby, Schmoolie, Peeps, Omelet). They're not shy, but I wouldn't consider any of my budgies completely "hand tame". Although I love my little ones, they do prefer each other for company. I also have a Senegal Parrot, Sammie. He was born in October of 2007, and he has been with us since February. Sammie is a real sweetheart and I love him to pieces! He loves time out of his cage, but prefers to be with me when he's out. Although he tolerates my husband, he will try to get to his "Momma" the first chance he gets!
Although I'm not new to the budgie world, this is my first time caring for a "larger parrot", and I'm still learning something new everyday. I look forward to reading your posts, learning, asking questions and sharing stories. I'll start with a few pics of my fids.
