I've caught an escaped bird, so if you see him just keep him flying and in the aned, he'll get tired and land on the ground- then you catch him. Go out and keep looking, don't give up! It hasn't even been a day yet! Ask everyone you see if they've seen him, put up posters and offer a reward. Ask your neighbours to keep their cats in, offer them compensation if they don't oblige (anything!) It's illegal for cats to be outside at night here. I wish it was everywhere.
