The only dangers that I know of would be the cookware. Try to get some that isn't teflon. Also cleaning products for your kitchen...Most of them are toxic to birds. There are several places that you can find that will tell you bird safe alternatives.

I don't think I've heard anything about new ovens and dangerous chemicals, But I haven't had to replace an oven since Iv'e had the fids, so I never really researched that. Maybe someone else could chime in on that and maybe add more to your list.
