Great points all, I just had someone tell me it is wrong to put a bird in a cage. While I can see their point, don't all domesticated animals such as horses, cats, dogs, etc have the right to be free? That obviously wouldn't be realistic. This argument is a circular one and not an issue that is really black and white.
