Keeping an eye closed

Our four year old African Grey has started to keep her left eye closed most of the time. She will open it for a few seconds at a time - and when she does there is no apparent injury. There is no visible swelling or redness and she isn't rubbing or favoring it (other than keeping it closed). Is this something we should be worried about?
