Question Strange CAG behavior

My CAG is very sweet. When I start talking to her (telling her how much I love her and how wonderful she is, etc), she starts behaving strangely. She starts making a noise that sort of sounds like a kid makes when he/she is frustrated. I don't know that she's frustrated, she just makes a sound like that. uh,uh,uh,... sort of. Anyway, while she's making that noise her wings are drooped real low and she moves back and forth on her perch. After a minute or two she tries to regurgitate food for me. I know about the regurgitating as being a sign of affection, but I can't find anything about the other behavior. Does anyone's bird do this or know about this?

I always called it their owl sound LOL. It does sound kind of like a mix between and uh uh and a whoo whoo LOL.. either way yep your african grey loves you and is either just telling you this or begging for a little more attention. Lewy does this all the time but luckily doesn't regurgitate afterwards.

my moses does this too, does this mean he is a male or female? He tries to regurgitate. I can't remember if he is male or female thats why I was wondering if this could identify if he is a he or she without the DNA sexing.

The TAG I grew up with would do that and regurgitated. We ended finding out that he was actually a she when she randomly laid eggs after 18 years of having her. (Yeah, that was a surprise). Anyways!! It's just a sign of love and affection. She/he sees you as her/his partner and wants attention/impress you with the dance of love! :o)
