I would keep them in seperate cages, and not where they can access eachother. Even if your guy is nice and calm, you cant be sure how the other will react.

When our TAG was still being weaned and was at the breeder's, he was with two other CAGs and he ruled the playground(stand) when they were all out together! So they can certainly interact just fine without intimidation of their size.
