My African Grey makes a funny noise when I hold him... is this something bad?

Hello everyone,

My husband and I are proud new grey owners of about a month now. He is 9 years old. I have noticed that when I hold Marti (just him sitting on my hand, no petting) sometimes he will make like a real soft kissing sound over and over the whole time I'm paying attention to him. Not everytime, but it's happened twice now. Today while he was doing it, he kept giving me his sanitary kisses (pushing on my mouth with his beak so there's no spit swap) and then he started the regirgitating motions with his head. I wanted to make sure I wasn't encouraging sexual behavior in him as I know this to be a major no no.

We watched a u2 that would hiss and grab herself when my husband or kids would handle her and I really don't want any of my birds to behave that way around us.

I don't know if this is the case here, but I've heard that grays tend to develop a sexual attraction to their owners and that may be it
