Curious about my cag

I have a 14 week old cag named teiki. I weined her last week and she seems to be doing fine. She is eating kaytee pellets. She also eats fresh apples, carrots, pears, and peanuts. However she is crushing the pellets up into powder. So i am not sure if she is eating the pellets or just playing with them. Also she doesn't seem to like peanut butter of any kind of citrus. Is this normal or is it going to take her some getting used to different kinds of food. Also when i let her out on the floor she takes her head and rubs her beak on the carpet from side to side. What does this kind of behavior indicate? She will not bite if you ask her to step up during this little episode.
By the way this is my first child on the bird family.

Thanks,
