my 2 greys

well just when you think it will be ok! Rico the new one is chasing Simon,my original,Simon is great with all the others, occas lets me love him up,Rico is a sweetie and very lovie with me(can;t help it I am a total sucker for him/her?) BUT he's chasing Simon, not really aggresive but makes him a nervous wreck, they have been out for a couple of wks together I can check on them, and hear them, but Rico was only chasing him when I was with them,my ? should I leave Rico locked up when I am not with them? then let him out when I am with them? it would be hard for him because of his prev living he was out all the time then they moved and he was never out again till I got him,he is just staring to be joyful,he also does make a half hearted attempt at the tiels but they are used to Simon and he used to do that too not now, Rico is older than Simon, is he trying to be alpha bird?

its sybling rivelry.
I know lots of grey owners who go through this same thing. Me included.
Do you have them clipped? can they actually reach eachother? Remember, its not uncommon for them to climb down off cages and stroll across the room to get their mission accomplished. Greys are very determined, and methodical.
I cant leave my gang out unsupervised. Sydney is determined to get Stirling, and Stirling is going to do damage. I cant ever CARRY them together as Sydney is trying to fly off my hand to get to the other. I often get bit out of misplaced aggression because of it.
We happily have our out time, each morning and evening. Mom as referee.
