sorry need more help again! :) many ????? long

hi all,
I'm reading and have read so much, but stillllllll.................
my 4 month old Sader came home last night 11.pm........
I posted on the regular grey postings of the excitement!
well that kinda changed...... lol
he didn't seem to want to be bothered all that much today, he was growling, doing these weird moves thru out the cage and digging on the bottom.

I read in the posts, patience and maybe read to him, so I did (actually he seemed to listen and even fell asleep, that was cute) he will sit on the perch closest to the front view, and wont run when I approach to sit and talk to him, sometimes he will growl, but nothing like he did this am, I tried to give him fresh food thru the bars, he was not interested, took them and dropped them down or growled at them with a sharp beak at them, crackers and a ice cream cone I tried, he growled at the ice cream cone, so that was a no.

ive been in the same room with him all but a total of maybe 1/2 hr, and never saw him eat, when he was flipping in the cage I think he accidentally dipped his beak in the water bowl, but no actual eating, is this normal? for the first day?
and my other question is, I did not let him out of the cage all day from what I read its says leave them in there for 2 days to adjust, its killing me not to touch him, but he doesn't look too fond on letting me either. is it normal he let me hold him at the breeders with no problem and now he's like stay away b :P)
should I keep him in there for the rest of today? tomorrow, what should I do? nothing? open the gate and let him come out on his own? or actually sustain some bites and have him step up?
