Grey doesnt like new toys

How do i introduce my Grey to new toys and a new playstand? i just spent $150.00+ dollars on a play stand for her and she jumps right off of it. and if I put new toys in her cage she avoids them. What shoudl I do?

I've tried moving her playstand near her cage so she can get use to it, but still no go. I've tried giving her treats near it as well and she still hates it. Same for new toys.

I think you are on the right path. I bought my Grey a new perch and for the first day or two he just looked at it. He now loves it. He is still young. An older bird will be more cautious and slow to respond. These guys are notoriously slow adapting to any kind of change or anything new. I'd continue to leave the play stand right next to his cage. Maybe put his favorite treats on it or his favorite type of foot toys. Eventually curiosity gets the better of these guys and they have to investigate. After he gets used to it you can try moving it to where you would like it to be.

I've heard people talking about their Grey ignoring new toys for weeks before starting to play with them.
