Have a bath recently? Eat foods high in water like grapes or celery?
Take picture. Re size and crop if necessary in MS paint so it uploads faster. (edit: stretch/skew) Upload pic to Photobucket.com or similar site. Copy "Direct URL" Come here, in the box where you type your posts there is a button to insert pictures.... its a yellow square w/ mountains. (on the same line as Bold/Italic) Paste the "Direct URL" there & hit okay. Preview your post to make sure all works okay! It sounds hard, but its easy once you do it a time or two. GL |

I would suggest the diet you're feeding could be the problem. If you are feeding animal protein several or more times a week, that is way too much. Better for parrots is to get their protein from plant sources, combining grains, seeds and certain easily digested legumes for complete protein. If you're feeding high fat seed at least some days, plus hamburger or other meats, the diet will be way too high in fat, not even considering the excess animal protein. Parrots need an assortment of vegetables daily (preferably raw and food processed to prevent picking out favorites), a little fruit especially the more nutritious (berries, cantaloupe, mango, papaya, cherries, etc. instead of apples, pears and grapes). I feed fresh sprouted grains, seeds and legumes with about 50% fresh vegetables and a little fruit, plus natural supplements and nuts for some species.
