MO cracks me UP!

HI all, I posted a few weeks ago about my new CAG, Mo.

WELL, as it turns out, Mo is a VERY interesting bird indeed!.....
a few things MO said when I got him:

HI
HIiiii
hello?
why?
whatcha doin?
bye
mimicked a phone ring tone (not mine)
says hello when your on the phone or he hears one ring.
i love you
LOOOVES to whistle, wolf whistle and a few others I can't place, OH and a slide whistle!

NOW, and in addition to what he was saying:

Wanna a drink??
Derek (my sons name)
gives BIG kiss sounds and little smooch sounds
makes a fake man made cat meow sound...LMAO,.. this one is TOO funny to hear!

And just this evening I heard him LAUGH!!!!....... this one is REALLY oging to kick my arse! LOL

I am having SO much fun with MO.
I joined a yahoo bird click group, am ordering a few clickertraining bird books.
I have already started to introduce him to a few new things like an emptied young coconut, he LOVES these!

MO seems to pick up on thing willy nilly, the cat meow I did it a few times, forgot about it and then a few days latter he was doing it, the more I laughed at it, the more he did /does it!

I bought MO a big second hand cage, it's GInormous!!! almost 5ft across, about 3 foot deep and on legs it's more than my height of 5-4".... He's LOVING IT!

and he REALLY seems to be warming up to my son , he's 7.5, of course, Derek talks to him nonstop and ALWAYS offers to share his food!.. NOt that I don't but it's very cute, because Derek is still a bit shy with him, afraid to pet or hold him..

MO is such a joy, and my last 2 months have been SO SO very stressful, so much so that I'm now sick because of it.....MO seems to make everything better... I LOVE THIS BIRD!!!!.....

I can def forsee more CAG's in the future!!!

blessings, Danielle

It amazes me too what they pick up and when. Bing likes this crazy meow sound I made a few times and loves to do it and the laughing just about kills me. Years ago I had the whooping cough and one remnant from it is that when I laugh really hard I start coughing. Yup, you guessed it. Bing will laugh and then cough at the end. He sounds more like a two-pack-a-day smoker but since I'm his only home I know it's just a distorted version of me. He also tells Dave to "Stop It" when Dave starts his screaming and lately he's added a little twist. He screams like Dave and then says, "Stop It." For awhile I believed it was Dave but I've caught on.

I'm glad MO is bringing you so much joy, especially if stress is bombarding you in other areas of your life. I think Greys are the best and you are seeing why.
