I already told you Ollie's, but I'll post it again...this morning she weighed in at 417.5 grams. She is still in the process of weaning, and she has in the past been up to 425. So I'm thinking later on down the road she may get closer to 435 or so.
Ollie is big boy Jeth!

Our CAG Jazzy was around 500g 6 months ago. She then injured her beak to where she did not want to bite down on apples, one of her favorites. She dropped to 460g. Her beak is better now and she is around 470g. Our Vet thinks we should shoot for 450g.

How much does you CAG weigh?
There are different sub spiecies to the greys. The smallest is a Ghana and the largest a Camaroon.
Blooper not quite the small version is a whopping 543 gms. He is a very good eater. Alice |

As far as I know, you have the Congo, then the subspecies Timneh... Ghana, Camaroon, and King are all fancy names to try to make them sound more special. Some greys may vary in size drastically, though tiels range in size from 80 grams to 115 grams, as cherry head conures can range in size from 130 grams to 200 grams. Other similar things can be seen in other birds, even seen in macaws. There are no subspecies in blue and golds, nor in greenwings or even scarlets.
The names given to these greys may help to differentiate between where they came from but that doesn't change the fact that they are the same, unless they are classified differently (there are some classifications but no proof of them...)
