Summer has a whitish color on her beak

Is this normal? Or is she lacking something in her diet?? She goes to the vet on September 1st, for her 1st YEARLY!!!

It could be where the layers in her beak are shaling and separating...that will cause a lighter appearance and also if there is a line in her beak where powder can get stuck, it will...thus again, making it look white.
