Hi all!!!My new baby CAG

Hi All,


I'm very excited to anounce that I'm the proud new partent of a CAG. I live in Central Florida and found an awesome breeder to adobt my new fid from. I've been an avid bird person for 15 years. I have four cockatiels that are 15 years old next month. I've always wanted an exotic bird, but have waited. Friday, I adopted Minnie, an awesome CAG that I couldn't have asked more for. She has been the sweetest, loving, baby one could ask for. I've been planning this for the last year. My Minnie is very colorful, also. She has a lot of red around her back, legs, and chest. She is such a great baby. I've been frequenting these boards for some time, but I've never interacted with you guys, until now. I want to thank you for all of your great insight and information. This is the best place to learn and understand the care giving of an exotic bird. This is my first post, so I'm trying to upload some pics. If it doesn't work, someone help me.

Minnie is BEAUTIFUL...and those pink feathers...just like my Sydney!

Have you allowed Minnie to fledge and fly? I'm thinking with that clip, she will be able to fly, so dont take her out unless harnessed

Minnie is a beautiful CAG. Red Factor I beleive also, she may loose most of those colorful feathers during her first molt.

She is absolutly beautiful!!!! Summer (my CAG) also has alot of those "extra" red feathers! LOL! I agree with grandma! You're going to love her!! How old is she?? Summer is almost 5 months old already!! Time sure does FLY by!! LOL! WELCOME!!
