Thanks for the reply, greyburd! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overdoing it with the eggs- I made my first batch of the Kitchen Sink recipe last night and I can't wait to see how well she eats it! Being a TAG mom only 3 months now, she and I are experimenting together to find what her culinary likes/dislikes are. Birdboard has been a great resource for me- You guys answer so many of my questions without even knowing it!!

You're welcome, Wendi...... there are other food related threads around here!! Lisa B. and I seem to feed our birds pretty much the same things. It's all about trial and error. And don't give up too quickly....... I tried giving Spencer Harrison's pellets when I first brought him home, and he wouldn't touch them. Not even to throw them out of the bowl. But now, he actually eats them (among other things).

Good luck

Well, your grey isn't the only one- Ollie would much rather play than eat! She will stop long enough to eat most of the stuff I cook for her, but she doesn't even peek into her pellet bowl until late in the evening. She is now starting to manipulate me, because she knows if she starts eating I will wait until she quits to cover her up for bed. Now as soon as I pick up the cover, she heads over to the food bowl and eats as s l o w l y as she can! Little stinker!

My grey has been awesome with food. She loves Roudy Bush, Zupreem and Harrison's, so far. Any kind of treat is a must for her. She loves anything warm. I give her oatmeal, beak appetite, kitchen creations, and she loves them all! I've been looking on here for other recipes and want to try them soon. I get bored with fixing her the same food all the time, so I'm sure she would love anything new..
