Kuki's here

We drove 6 hours to pick her up, then a 6 hour ride home.
Kuki was very curious and wanted to come out and cuddle, but most of the trip she was very quiet, curious and good. I covered her cage mostly but gave her a a view of me for the trip.

She was very tired when she got home, I gave her a cuddle and put her to bed.

I knew she would be lonely this morning, without her familiar family. She was very intersted in her surroundings, had a nice breakfast, a play.

She started dunking into her water bowl, so I gave her a gentle mist and she spent some time after grooming.

thank you.

Yes her name is pronounced (cookie) I named her after the Kuki Gallman foundation in Africa.

I've had quite a morning, she's settled in so quickly, however, she's fully fledged, she's been flying from place to place, and I'm so worried for her,
she's crashed into 2 windows, a mirror.

I have a huge cargo net to put up in front of one window, I hope when I get that up, it will attract her and be a regular landing place.

I'll take the mirror down, but I'm so worried she'll hurt herself. I've read so many horror stories about them getting injured from a crash.

I taught her a few places that were safe to land, she's really clever, she knew what I was saying and kept using those landing places.

I'm having trouble stopping her from coming over to me and wanting to be on my shoulder.

Anywho, I'm sure we'll get used to each other. I've put her into her sleep cage now for an aftenoon nap.

I'm so glad she loves her toys too.

2nd day with Kuki here, we had breakfast. It's taking a bit of trial and error to see what she wants, she's big on the dried fruit and nuts and my coconut milk, she thought that was hers!

Hope it doesn't give her squits.

She had her first shower, then groomed and played. We're getting ready for the afternoon nap which I thought I'd stick to so I can get other things done, in and out of the home.
