Alright, I thought you were all crazy

The wife and I went to a pet store to purchase Timmy banana chips/nuts. Anyway they have a few hand raised CAGs. One of the CAGs clowned around whenever we were around. Then the lady that worked there let her out of the cage. She placed her on my wife, then my wife placed her on my shoulder. Where the baby CAG placed her head behind my ear and snuggled.

Dont ask me what happened..Cause from that point on everything is a blur. Some how I ended up not only bringing her home, a new cage, all new toys, her food, she eats Zupreem, treats, vitamins, Bird bath, pet carrier.

The children named her Zoey. She bends her head down to be scratched. Loves to held like a baby in my arms. She also likes to grab my hand and be swung gently back and forth.

I really feel Zoey chose us. While we were there another customer came to pet Zoey and she let him have it.

Of course we still have Timmy, he still tolerates me and that is it. The difference between the two are really like night and day. Zoey craves our attention while Timmy would be satisfied being fed and left alone. Which I never give him that satisfaction

Ahh btw Zoey is 17wks old..

PS To be safe in the future my wife will pick up there food

Another Grey I think this is out of control on this board. I have to admit a foundness for them myself - I think they're so handsome.

I don't know if your wife will be anymore safe than you in a store like that. Maybe you should order your food etc on line.

I know I'm avoiding all pet supply stores that carry birds, at the moment.
The cats are bad enough [displayed for the shelters]- cause I have a real weakness for them as well.

Hope Zoey will have a positive influence on Timmy - maybe they'll fall in love - the stories have just begun I think.

Ahhhhh. I don't think anyone could resist a face like that. Its probably a good thing that I order my food online. Most of the places I get the other stuff from don't have the bigger birds anymore & if they do they want 3 times what you would pay a breeder & you have to tame them yourself. Crystal
