Dozy making a quacking sounds

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!

I can't seem to be able to download a video so I am going to try to attempt to explain what sound Dozy is making. She sounds almost like a quacking duck. I've noticed that she makes this sound in the mornings when she first comes out of her cage and when I get home in the evenings. She was making this sound a lot this evening. So much so I thought there might be something wrong. Does anyone know what sound I am talking about? I also notice that when I bring my hand close and ask her to step up she lowers her head and wants to be petted. The other thing she does is she will take my finger in her mouth like she wants to be hand fed all the while bobbing her head up and down while my finger is in her mouth. Does anyone know what might be going on and is this sound anything I should be worried about? She just turned 7 months on December 30th.

Is she weaned? How long has she been weaned? Did you bring her home after she was weaned? Have you been weighing her on a regular basis? When's the last time she was examined by an avian vet?

I'm not sure about the quaking noise but grabbing your finger and bobbing up and down can be a sign of bonding. My 11-YEAR old Grey does that occasionally.

Her weight is fine. My breeder gave her a clean bill of health. She has been weaned since the end of September and I brought her home after she was weaned. She is eating fine and her droppings look ok.

Do you have a recording of their sounds? I would like to hear it and see if it is the same sound. If not or it's too much trouble, not a biggie.

I just got home and she is doing it again. I made her a nice warm meal and hand fed her. She ate a lot. I also weighed her and she is at 275G. Is this a good weight?

Not a bad weight for 7 months depending on your birds size and bone structure.

I've read TAGs weigh anywhere between 200-400 grams. Do you know if this is true? I think she is average size and bone structure. I'll continue to monitor.
