Kuki is settling in

I have a few more pics of Kuki

This is Kuki's voice lessons lol

I made some little cookie's for her with ground almonds and apple, raisins and an orange all ground together and dehydrated. She loves them.

Kuki's art lol...

I'm having so much fun with her. She's settling in and we're getting to know each other. She loves taking nuts from their shells, I help out by getting it half cracked.

Peanuts are her favourite
coconut milk comes a close second
cranberries she loves

She is a sweet baby. They look so innocent and then they start to get into trouble. LOL!
It is great that you make your own treats, I am lazy. Homemade is always better!

love the kuki art! tooo cute.....

one word of advice(if thats ok) Please no peanuts...
they are known to carry mold spores and can infect the peanut itself.
This can cause Aspergillosis. Aspergillosis is a nasty disease and greys are more suspetable to it. They are also more likely to die from it since the meds they need are not as easily perscribed since Greys dont tolerate alot of the meds the same as other species. I lost two greys in my years to Asper. Both memorials can be found in the "in memory of" section here. Sampson Bell and Otis.
i lost two......If I didnt share their stories, they died for no reason. By sharing, I might help someone elses bird.

OMG than kyou for telling me, I wish I got back to this thread earlier, since then I've given them to her again and even bought another packet to be well stocked!

and it doesn't matter if they are organic?

I feel awful.

Poor Kuki, will have to do without her favourite.

She loves all nuts in their shells so she can still forage.
