Be Quite!

Okay, gotta make this quick, because I’m on my lunch break, but I just had to share with everyone. My 8 month old CAG Riley has learned how to say “Be Quite” and now if Tiki or Tinkerbell start chirping, she will say “Be Quite.” This morning Tiki was screeching and Riley started out with Be Quite and when Tiki didn’t listen she said it a little louder and when he still didn’t listen, she practically yelled it at him! LOL The third time was the charm, Tiki finally listened to her! I started laughing so hard I was almost crying! When Tiki starts his screeching I always tell him, “Be a good birdie, be quite.” Well Riley picked up the be quite part and she is definitely using it in context the correct way!

They are so smart! My daughter taught Hootie how to "Whisper" and now when the others are being loud Hootie tells them "We Whisper!" It must be rough being the quietest bird in the house and having to put up with all these loudmouths.

They are really something aren't they? My neighbor heard my cag, Big Bird, tell the rest of the flock "okay, time to quiet down now". She says they listened but I don't beleive it-they don't listen when I say it! he also tells the dogs-"no bark, Girls-no bark, shhhhh"

Gotta love 'em
