Question Male & Female CAG Personality Differences?

Good morning all,
I was wondering if you all could tell me in your experiences what, if any, the personality differences are in m/f CAGs? I am praying that my baby will be happy and social by doing everything I can to help it become that way. But I am wondering if either sex likes to play more, cuddle more, talk more etc? Thanks for your help! Still waiting...waiting...waiting for a baby! LOL

I think that the females of all species are just sweeter. Atleast in my birds my females are lovers!!

Generally the male of the species is prone to talk more, but that isn't always the case. As for cuddling and playing, I'm sure it differs between individual birds. Many people prefer males so as to avoid potential nesting and egg laying behaviors. I have a little girl who is sweet and cuddly, and loves to play. At 20 months she has a vocabulary of about 10 words and phrases, can whistle different whistles to cue words, can wave, and recall. She is smart and sweet- the whole package! But I'm not the least bit biased!

I have a little boy, but he's just a baby so I doubt any gender differences (if they exist) would be present right now

I think cuddly babies can depend more on the bird and how it was raised than the gender, especially since most greys get less cuddly as they reach sexual maturity. I had hoped, and was relieved, when I learned that Schroeder was a boy because of the potential nesting/egg issues Camille descrbed.

I read somewhere on the internet (so who knows how valid it is) that female CAGs were less likely to "switch" their favorite/prefered person when they matured than males?

Actually, I remember that- somebody posted that study here on BB. I don't know how valid that it is though. I definitely wouldn't base getting a female over a male just on that.

I have 20 Greys now and all the females are sweet or semi-sweet to me (even the non-pet type are nicer than their boyfriends). Most all the males have attiudes to some degree, some of course more than others....There is that belief (with some people) that female CAGs take to male humans better than to female human keepers and male CAGS take more to female humans but I can't say that is a fact. However seems like there may be something to it based on my Grey flock's behavior?

my experience.....

I have had 6 greys. 5 of them Male. One little innocent Female (just look at that face)

It is said that something like 80something% of Males change alliance as they mature and only 16% of females. DO I have proof of this, no, and do I believe it? I dunno know. I have not witnessed it with my flock.

With that said. I do believe a grey that is well socialized, either female or male, will remain friendly with family members.

Differences? as far as taking one in, I have no preference. They both make wonderful companions.

My boys however, tend to be smart, friendly, ok to change, not fearful, and they listen to mom with little hesitation.

My Girl, is similar to a teenage girl. Very loving, and all the same the boys are, however, she is more determined to do what she wants when she wants wherever she wants. She throws hissy fits none of my boys ever have.
They arent a problem, but its just like they say about human kids.
Boys have been easier to raise for me then the one princess I am raising along with them. Now with that said, i might be adding another baby girl to my home soon. So does the "Hell hath no fury like a womans scorn " discourage me? NO, not in ANY way!
(but that sayin is true!)

Max my CAG:

Talking ability - Seriously I lost count. Seems like within a week he can learn something new. We are very, very afraid to slip up next to Max these days.

Attitude - Well he's a spoiled brat all my doing (lol).

Maturity - Nope still loves me. I'm the lucky recipient of CAG puke.

Cuddly - When he wants to be did I mention spoiled..
