Caroline never had the opportunity before to do that much. Her beak was incredibly long...so at 30+ yrs. when I got her...she chews, but not a huge chewer. At least her beak looks better proportioned now... :icon_smil

Both of my girls have days when they do a lot of wood chewing. However, its not constant. They will go weeks and avoid the wooden toys completely. I think they chew whatever they need to when they feel the need to manicure their beaks or make a nest.

Nope, as of yet, Grace isn't a big chewer of wood yet at all except small pieces. She's chows down on other things though like lemon grass sticks. She doesn't really pay much attention to her wooden toys. She's more in favor of her rubber toys, raffia or corded toys. She's only 5 mo.s though. I guess it may change as she gets older.
