Night time temps...
How low can temps be at night for our birds? I know drafts are bad, but in a draft-free zone is what I'm wondering about.

I wouldn't go lower than 65 to 68 degrees F. I usually keep my birdroom at about 68 to 70 degrees year round. If your bird is outside and used to cooler temps, just be sure to provide proper boxes and heat panels. Healthy birds in good feather should be able to sustain themselves in cooler temps. However, it does add stress to birds and sick birds should not be over chilled. What part of Tennessee do you live in? Is this an indoor pet or an outdoor breeder? If you are in the cooler eastern part of the state, you are probably getting cooler nights by now.

The temperatures at my house usually range from the high 50's to the 80's, and occasionally during the summer, up to the 90's. During the winter we try to keep the temps in the 60s, while the summer usually in the 70s as it's usually quite hot here, and the temps inside the house usually get up to the 80s, if not higher...
During the summer I occasionally have my windows open 24/7 with screens, and sometimes even fans blowing in air or blowing it out. I especially enjoy having the fans run at night. I don't cover my birds either, even at night and I have yet to have any problems with drafts, or the temperatures, even though I'd rather keep the the temps around the 70's year round. Now of course none of them are directly infront of a window, and the closest cage to a window is about a foot away....

She's a recovering plucker...may never get her breast feathers back. Definitely an indoor bird. The part of NW TN we live has really freaky fluctuations. One week we were in ice...the next was in the 60s. Usually, we barely even get snow. We seem to be in a pocket where much of the really bad weather goes around...either over, under or both.
Thanks for the answers. I thought it would be close to what I have the iguana at. I wanted to be sure.
