Digging in food bowls/cage bottoms...

I'm not sure if I've asked this before so if I have please forgive me. If not, does anyone elses CAG or TAG do this? Or is my Grace just odd?

Our CAG is always doing that, we call it his bull act at the bottom of his cage...as far as the food goes he does that too but 90% of the time it's to get us to let him out or he wants something different to eat, mixed nuts, or veggies, oat meal/cream of wheat, apples, oranges, or stuff like that...when he is doing the bull we take him out and play for 15-30 min with just him...it's his play time, then he goes to his t-stand for a while...he is out of his cage a good part of the day...ad or evening.

Digging in the bottom of the cage is a very common action for greys. One theory is that since they are ground feeders in the wild they dig to expose seeds or vegetation to eat. My greys both stopped digging while they were still babies, but I know of many others who have continued throughout their lives.
