ahhhhhhh seems about normal. my guys also fluctuate about that much.
Any more then 5 % of the body weight, is means for concern if there is no real reason(fledging) I would reduce the amount given at night, but keep it up till he refuses. It prob wont be much longer. Sydney was about 9 months when he stopped(he was just getting a few tastes at night)........He was just enjoyin his mommy birdy time. But thats just me. I am not a breeder. just a mom.

okie dokie
i'll keep an eye out on a 20 gram weight loss that would be 5% i fed him about 2/3 of what he normally gets tonite baby bird formula and unsweetened apple sauce (i usually mix the formula with red palm oil or baby puree food he seems to like that mixture yes he really loves it when mommy and daddy feeds him u can see his eyes with excitment and they always dialate and shrink back and forth during the whole them (we got a night time routine) handfeeding 20 mins b4 bed then kisses good night from mommy and daddy then whoever puts him to bed (cover his cage) suddles him for about 5 mins and int he cage he goes |
