X Rated Parrot

Has anyone viewed the CAG on youtube? It sounds like this man has taught his bird nothing but naughty words. If you go to youtube, under search type in X Rated Parrot. I was watching it on the computer and my husband told me not to view it in front of my CAG's as he was afraid they'd start picking up all those words...I'm not a prude, but I've taught my birds things like; I love your sweetheart. Hi Darling, they even say excuse me after they toot. lol They say God Bless you if someone sneezes. They really talk up a storm. A far cry from X Rated Parrot.

what the heck was that jerk thinking? its not funny and the guy abviously has issues since hes laughfing at a bird thats swearing, honestly he needs to grow up. its not funny because someone walking in could get mad at a cussing parrot and do harm to it because they are in a bad mood. personally the guy needs to have his bird re-homed with some peopole who have a brain, and some dignity.

Honestly, the bird looks happy and healthy. The owner obviously spends time with and pays attention to him/her. So what if he taught him/her a few nasty words? I don't think that makes him a bad person or a bad bird owner.

X Rated parrot

I agree whatever floats your boat.........I was just amazed that my husband didn't want our birds to hear that bird.......Just like our birds are our kids......I said, " Are you serious"? He said yes, they pick up everything...They live up to 70 years and who wants a parrot the cusses...........I just laughed, and no, the 2 African Greys behind me did not pick up Rubys words........

I Agree.. We are all assuming the Guy intentionally taught him. However, as an owner of a "potty mouth" parrot I can honestly say we never taught our CAG his expletives. He just heard them and thought - oh a new word.

Max hears a word once & will have it down pat within 3 days his mimicing is that good. Do I laugh sometimes - yep I can't help it - other times I try to ignore. Max is out while my husband is swearing at a client on the phone or when dinner parties are happening. So, he's picked up a bevy of things but we love him ohhh so much.

One more thing.. It doesn't have to be coming out of our mouths. Max has come to repeat "Dumb A$$" which is the favorite saying from "That 70's Show" Father on the series. I watch the repeats on TIVO & Max can't help but bleep that one out all the time. That's Prime Time TV for ya..:-)

Even the Parrotlet Chuckie picked up the commercial "Cha Cha Chia Pet".. tame but annoying.

Yeah, actually I laughed my ass off right along with the guy. Obviously Ruby was having a good time with him.
